Metaphor
Coordinator app that runs Claude Code or Codex on a task in its own Git worktree or a Metaphor Cloud VM, checks the result against auto-generated checks, and can hand verified work off as a pull request.

Linux and Windows are waitlist-only per the homepage. Public launch post on Oct 20, 2026 claims about 25% fewer tokens than Claude Code and Codex and a 95% cache hit rate on Terminal-Bench 4.0; those are vendor claims and Metaphor isn't on the public Terminal-Bench 4.0 leaderboard. Not yet tested or ranked.
